Kamagra Gold is a medication to treat erectile dysfunction in men. This an analogue version of Viagra, a specific formulation of 100 mg of sildenafil citrate. Kamagra increases the amount of blood passing to the penis making erection possible when there is sexual stimulation. Sildenafil, its main component, inhibits cGMP specific phosphodiesterase type 5, an enzyme that regulates blood flow to the cavernous bodies of the penis.
Dosage and direction
Kamagra Gold is a maximal dose of this medication for 24 hour period while Viagra tablets are of 25, 50 and 100 mg. One tablet of Kamagra Gold contains 100 mg of sildenafil citrate. Take at least 30 minutes before to start sexual activity. Do not exceed 100 mg (one tablet) within a 24-hour period. Fatty or oily meals slow down the absorption of the drug. The drug works only when there are sexual stimulation and excitement. Sildenafil citrate should be used strictly as directed by your physician.
Precautions
Before to take Kamagra Gold to notify your doctor if you have problems with anaemia, high blood pressure or low blood pressure, irregular heart rhythm, heart failure, unstable chest pain, allergies, eye diseases, deformation of the penis, or currently are taking treatment of HIV. Avoid drinking alcohol as it may worsen side effects. Do not take Kamagra Gold together with other ED medication. Warn your doctor before to take Kamagra Gold if you use alprostadil (Caverject, Muse, Edex) or yohimbine (Yocon, Yodoxin, others).
Contraindications
Kamagra Gold cannot be used in patients with allergy to the medication and its components and also in individuals treated with nitrates (such as nitroglycerin). This combination can cause very low blood pressure potentially dangerous to result in a stroke, heart attack, or death. Do not take this medication if you are under 18 y.o.
Possible side effect
Some patients may experience headache, diarrhoea, dizziness, upset stomach, vomiting, nasal congestion. Kamagra Gold can cause a rare but serious condition known as priapism or prolonged erection. Contact your health care provider at once if your erection continues longer than for hours, without immediate medical attention this condition may permanently damage your penis.
Drug interaction
Kamagra Gold should not be prescribed to patients treated with medications which contain organic nitrates. Blood levels of Kamagra Gold are raised by erythromycin, ketoconazole, itraconazole and saquinavir. It has been reported about the interaction between Kamagra Gold and following medications: bosentan (Tracleer); cimetidine (Tagamet, Tagamet HB); an antibiotic such as erythromycin (E-Mycin, Eryc, Ery-Tab) or clarithromycin (Biaxin); doxazosin (Cardura), prazosin (Minipress), Terazosin (Hytrin); HIV medicines such as indinavir (Crixivan), amprenavir (Agenerase), darunavir (Prezista), efavirenz (Sustiva), tipranavir (Aptivus), nevirapine (Viramune), saquinavir (Invirase, Fortovase), lopinavir/ ritonavir (Kaletra), fosamprenavir (Lexiva), ritonavir (Norvir), atazanavir (Reyataz), or nelfinavir (Viracept); an antifungal medication such as itraconazole (Sporanox) or ketoconazole (Nizoral); carbamazepine (Tegretol), phenobarbital (Luminal), or phenytoin (Dilantin); or rifampin (Rifadin, Rimactane) or rifabutin (Mycobutin).
Missed dose
Take Kamagra Gold when needed but not more than one tablet a day. Regular daily intake should be agreed with your physician.
Overdose
Erection which is longer than four hours can be a sign of overdose. If you experience severe fainting, chest pain, nausea, irregular heartbeat, lightheadedness during sex after taking Kamagra Gold contact your doctor as you may need immediate medical help.
Storage
Store at room temperature, below 25 C (77 F) and out of reach and children and pets.
